4-H and FFA Youth Market Animal Show

I had a wonderful experience attending the 4-H and FFA Youth Market Animal Show.  I greatly appreciated the opportunity to bring greetings on behalf of Fayette County Public Schools and to recognize our students for their tremendous accomplishments.  During the event, I had the pleasure of engaging our elementary students and parents, as well as, our high school students who attend Locust Trace.

I must say that listening to my Locust Trace students share how their lives were transformed as a result of their studies and their relationships with one another, was moving.  These students have formed their own “wolf pack” and as a result of their common and shared experiences, formed an unbreakable bond.   Kudos to the event sponsors and others for supporting this event.
