What another wonderful week in FCPS!  These past several weeks, I had the pleasure of engaging in the following events and activities:

  • Attended the Steering Accountability Meeting
  • Participated in the YES Men! event at Yates Elementary School
  • Participated in the District Diagnostic Review
  • Facilitated District Diagnostic Review principals’ meeting
  • Facilitated District Diagnostic Review meeting with FCPS Board
  • Attended Wellness Night at Mary Todd Elementary School
  • Awarded Superintendent’s Cup to this year’s winners of the Academic Challenge
  • Attended Equity Council Meeting

Kudos to our board, district and school leaders, teachers, staff, students, families, and community partners for supporting these events and activities!

Now whether you have plans to travel during spring break or enjoy a “stay-cation” here in Lexington, I hope you will use this next week to relax, rejuvenate and make memories with family and loved ones. You are an important part of our FCPS Family and we look forward to seeing everyone back on April 10 to finish year strong!
