Week In Review

Another great week in Fayette County!  This week, our Health Science Academy (HSA) students  at FDHS completed their showcase project based learning experience.  Students participated in a simulated mass casualty event supported by seventeen external partners including first responders.   HSA is a part of our Academies of Lexington where we seek to transform teaching and learning and business/civic engagement.   Academy students explore the world to find their future!

I also had the pleasure of attending our latest SCAPA production – Singing In the Rain.  Kudos to our student-performers and teachers for  a great musical performance!

Lastly, I attended the First Baptist Church Bracktown “Teacher Appreciation Luncheon” to honor teachers selected by students for this year’s Teacher Who Made A Difference Award.
