The ACT is near!

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019 all 10th and 11th grade students will be taking the ACT at TCHS. If you want additional preparation over the weekend, click HERE for some free online resources. (Once on the site, you’ll need to scroll down a little bit until you get to the free ones, which are clearly labeled.) The “Free Study Guide” contains a full practice ACT exam with answers, and the “Practice for Each Subject” provides additional questions beyond the practice exam. Also remember that FCPS has a video on ACT preparation you can watch for helpful strategies and other ACT information. That link is HERE.

Make-Up School Days

Fayette County Public Schools cancelled school on the following days for either illness or inclement weather: January 25th, January 30th, and January 31st.

The make-up days have now been set! School WILL be in session now on Friday, March 15th (B-day), Wednesday, May 29th (B-day), and Thursday, May 30th (A-day). Unless we have additional days of school called off, May 30th will be the last day of school.

FAME Awards

Attention all seniors! The deadline for submitting FAME Award nominations has been extended to this coming Monday, January 21, 2019. What is a FAME Award you might ask? Here is a description:

Graduating seniors are encouraged to nominate a favorite teacher, counselor, coach, or mentor who has made a significant difference in their lives. Student-Teacher pairs, selected on the strength of the essay submissions, are recognized at a program honoring the impact that educators can have on the students they serve.

Winter Break

ESS (Extended School Services) Tutoring
